SG Type 6, first setting (Jan 4th) JBC monogram block of 24 from the lower-left of Plate 2 with full margins at left and bottom (with JBC monogram) positions #37 through #60, the margins from all other settings were removed in Melbourne as the margins caused the bottom row overprint to be much higher on the stamps than usual, positions #44, #51, and #55 display minor flaws as listed in Pope, 4 small tone spots noted (3 in margins including monogram, position #37 through #54 consist of six MNH "a, b, c" vertical strips of three, left side margins displays "COMMONWE" watermark, only 34 JBC monograms we originally printed which makes the value closer to SG #87 (£30,000 with approx. 34 recorded) an important marginal first setting block of 24 for the exhibitor, plater, or NWPI specialist as no more than 10 JBC monogram examples exist, OG, NH, COLONIAL STAMP CO.
