 Lot 4237 - overseas mexico - Corinphila Auction AG Auction 191-195Cuernavaca & Mexico City 8 r. green on red-brown, an enormous used example ('Cuernavaca' overprint) with exceptional margins and fine 1 r. black on green ('Mexico' overprint), used on October 21, 1863 cover to Vera Cruz, Hargous correspondence, tied by FRANCO / MEXICO datestamp in black. The Cuernavaca 8 reales is one of just 616 consigned after returns. A superb and very rare 9 reales franking showing two District names on the same cover in wonderful fresh condition. Cert.
