1940-41 three registered covers, two to the United States, one to Argentina, sent from French Concentration Camps, Camp de Gurs (two) and Camp Recebedou, with oval "Surete Nationale Camp De Recebedou" and "Camp de Gours" censor markings, backstamped on arrival. Through that period, these camps were primarily used to hold German Jews deported from Rhineland and Saar, and Jews that resided in France before the war, but did not hold French passports
