We noted many high values and rare sets such as two Sinkiang $1 black and orange yellow, Yunan to $5 used, Szechuan unification of China and many others, mostly in very fine condition. 1898/1980: Accumulation of over fifty letters, postcards and photographs with a range of rare and unusual items of Chinese postal history. Notable items include a mixed franking between French and Chinese stamps on a postcard to France, a 1921 registered letter from WOOSUNG to Switzerland franked with twelve Junk type stamps, attractively arranged in star formation. Further items include material from foreign postal administrations, like French, German and US and an Airmail letter to France franked with 1929 "Curtiss Jenny" high values.

1900/1936: Batch of ten covers including one red band letter from TAKU dated 14. Jan. 1900 to PEKING, on reverse TIENTSIN Dollar chop, a 4c olive JUNK single franking form HAIMENAN, an express letter from TSI-NAN Arsenal with Stamp cancelled bilingual LUCKOW, redirected from Germany to Austria, some incoming mail and three red preprinted messages. A varied interesting lot.

1903/1944: Batch of twenty letters and postcards relating to China, containing a number of interesting routings and originations. There are a 1912 letter to France routed via HAIPHONG Indochina, a postcard from the Austrian Marinedetachement in Peking, a letter franked German Office stamps and posted aboard a German steamer, two postcards to Belgium from Hankow, Japanese PO and a letter from DAIREN to Vienna among others. Good lot for the postal historian.

1897: 1c black on 3 cents red, "Red Revenue", very fresh unused and large part original gum, 2c black on 3 cents red, "Red Revenue", fine used and 2c black on 3 cents red, "Red Revenue" with local overprint, fine unused also with large part original gum. Three attractive stamps of this desirable series. Scarce in such fine condition.

1915: 5c rosy mauve and 3c blue green "Junk" both first Peking print on registered redband letter from SUIYUANGHSIEN Number 340, bearing transit and arrival markings SUIFHENO, KWANCHENTZE. There is minor soiling, but nonetheless an attractive an rare letter.
