HAMBURG" on face and hectographed censorship label "Militärisch unter Kriegsrecht geöffnet Hamburg, 1914 (Unterschrift) Überwachungsoffizier" and post sealing label from Hamburg (removed on reverse); reverse arrival datestamp of 3 August, franking slightly defective. A scarce and interesting letter from the first days of the war.
