Opobo Provisional 1894 (May): '½' in red on half of 1 d. dull blue, an unused horizontal pair, of fine fresh colour, merest tarce of thin, without gum. The barely notcieable imperfection can only be seen in benzine and is a spurious comment on the RPSL certificate given that this is the sole recorded unused multiple of this provisional in good condition (the only other pair, ex Ferrary and Dale-Lichtenstein, is defective at both top and at base). Cert. RPSL (1982) Gi = £ 4'500+.rnProvenance: Collection David Melat.
