18 cross vermilion and 12 cross green, both fresh colours and large margins, with only one open Mühlrad-cancel "384" and adjacent semicircle "PASING 10/6" (1866) on small envelope to the Austrian Major General Paul Maximilian von Hompesch-Bollheim, to Veracruz, Mexico, with forwarding mark "Tulancingo" on the postage paid. The envelope with the usual traces of transport and minor signs of age; the 18 crosses inconspicuously creased with tiny paper splits, otherwise perfect. A very rare letter from the time of the French intervention and the only registered square issue postage paid to Mexico. Certificate Brettl BPP (1990)

12 Kreuzer purple and 3 Kreuzer rose, the former touched at base, otherwise both with full to large margins, with open Mühlrad-cancel "325" and neatly adjacent red "MÜNCHEN 10/8 (10) Chargé" on small envelope to the celebrated tenor of the Munich Court Theatre, Franz Nachbauer, to Lucerne. Inconspicuous tear in the envelope, otherwise in good condition. A scarce and interesting registered covers abroad. Signed Drahn and Pfenninger.

18 Kreuzer yellow-orange, 2 single values, full to large margins, together with right slightly touched 9 Kreuzer bluish green, with neatly closed Mühlradrad-cancel "196" and neatly adjacent semicircle "MARKTBREIT 7/1" on folded cover (one side part missing) via England to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. 9 cross brown, still full to over-margined, with closed Mühlrad-cancel "250" and adjacent semicircle "KLEINHEUBACH 6/11" (1867) on small envelope (princely crown and princely lacquer seal imprinted on the reverse) to the Prince of Löwenstein-Wertheim to Haid in Bohemia, since departed returned with pink-coloured note "retour Kleinheubach" on face. Stamp (postage stamp) above slightly glued over the margin.
