Bucharest 1867: 10 s. blue, a single example used on 1868 cover to the French Consul in Trebisonde, Turkey tied by neat "BUCAREST" circular datestamp (Nov 7) in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 714). Reverse with small part of flap missing and Austrian P.O. Constantinople transit cds (Nov 11) and "Trebisonda" Austrian P.O. (Nov 18) in black. A scarce cover.

Galatz 1867: Single 3 s. green and 10 s. blue, two examples, used on 1868 single rate cover to Genova tied by "GALATZ" circular datestamps (April 8) in black (Tchilinghiirian fig. 744). Reverse with Czernowitz cds (April 13), Venice cds and Genova arrivals (April 17). A most attractive example of the Lloyd 23 soldi rate for under 15 grams.

Giurgevo 1867: 5 s. red and 10 s. blue, used examples on 1868 entire letter endorsed "Via Varna" to Athens, Greece tied by fine "GIURGEVO" circular datestamp (Oct 13) in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 748). Italic "P.P." applied in Varna in transit in black, and charged 20 lepta due for inland delivery with fine 1862/67 20 l. pale blue on blued tied by "Athens" cds (Oct 14j). Reverse with Constantinople Austrian P.O. cds (Oct 17) and Piraeus and Athens cds's. The adhesives crossed by light file fold in no way detracting from the stunning appearance of a rare and most attractive entire.

Galatz 1864: Arms 5 s. red, perf. 9½, two examples used on 1867 cover to Vienna each tied by "GALLATZ" circular datestamps (Aug 16) in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 743). Reverse with tragic loss of DDSG adhesive formerly tied by DDSG oval Ship's cachet in blue and Vienna arrivals (Aug 20) in black. Minor peripheral aging on perfs. but scarce.

Galatz 1867: 10 s. blue, a horizontal pair, used on 1869 cover from Galatz to Corfu, Ionian Islands endorsed "via Trieste", tied by three line dated "GALATZ" circular datestamp (Feb 12) in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 745). Underpaid 10 soldi on despatch and "AFF. INSUFF" applied in black with "20" in red manuscript. Underpayment not collected and the Greek P.O. only charged the inland fee of 20 lepta with 20 l. blue applied and tied by "Kerkyra" cds's (Feb 10j) in black. A most appealing and rare cover.

Bucharest 1867: 15 s. brown in a horizontal pair and single 10 s. blue on reverse of 1868 registered cover to Kronstadt (Brasov) at triple rate, the adhesives being tied by "BUKAREST / RECOMMANDIRT" oval datestamps (Feb 18) in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 716). Reverse with Brasso cds of receipt (Feb 20) in black. Slight imperfections of no great significance, an exceptional cover, the sole recorded triple weight registered letter of the period.
