A used QV collection on Lindner hingeless album pages; from 1d black (3 margins - thin, but attractive) various L.E. 1d (5) & 2d(5) - all different imperfs/ perfs/wmks etc. ½d, 1d, 1½d & 2d plate number(one of each). Embossed 6d (one margin - good colour), then a substantial Surface Printed collection from 1855-1884 with a majority of spaces filled for values to 2/- with 8d, 3 x 9d, 5/-, then Lilac & Green set used. Cover franked with 3d red on bluish 'Bill of Exchange' REVENUE cut out, not accepted as valid postage with manuscript 'X' marks and 'Unpaid' with signature with good strike of boxed 'CONTRARY TO REGULATIONS E.C.' marking in black alongside.
