1935 Sikkim Durbar Rocketgram, by Rocket No.42, Gangtok Post office Compound to the Durbar High School, franked with special 2Rs Rocket Stamp in blue and yellow tied with ornamental cachet, signed by Stephen Smith. The letters were then posted with postmark, reading “Gangtok 7 April 1935”, reverse shows Gangtok CDS, 200 covers carried. Fine, Scarce.

The letters were then posted with postmark, reading “Gangtok 9 April 1935”, reverse shows Gangtok CDS, 175 covers carried. Fine, Scarce.

Smith, bearing the 2R Rocket Fee “Parcel” stamp tied by the green special cachet, with KG V 9p to pay onward postage from Gangtok to Sikkim. The reverse of the Rocketgram bears an amusing list of contents carried by the rocket. A scarce and most attractive item. Fine.

H./ THE MAHARAJHA” and the date stamp, special cachet on front, with KG V 9p to pay onward postage from Gangtok to Sikkim. 200 missives carried (handwritten), scarce and attractive item. Fine.
