Auction 350 has 3,492 lots, catering for all types of collectors & dealers - from bulk accumulations and intact collections to desirable single items. This auction offers a huge range of material, with special emphasis on lotting stamps to cater for collectors with varying types of interests and budgets. Items range from $30 to $60,000 so there's something for everybody. This auction offers strong representation of Australia & Colonies, strong British Empire material of all areas & periods, as well as General Foreign including small and large collections. There are over 300 lots of Australian Collections (Lots 64-417) and almost 800 lots of World collections (Lots 418-977).

 

Following on there is almost 800 lots of Australia which consist of singles, sets and covers including Australian colonies (Lots 1094-1843). The Australian lots cover all periods, from the Kangaroo issues up to Decimal and contains numerous number of mint & used £1 & £2 top values - this includes a Third Watermark £2 Grey-black & crimson, unlisted variety 'break in shading line below LI of Australia'. Superb M, deep colours & excellent centring. SG 45 cat £5000. ACSC 56B cat $7500. Rare, excellent condition top value & certificate can be obtained on request. (Lot 1209).

 

There are over 1,600 lots of World stamps, covers and single country collections (Lots 1844-3492) with the British Empire well represented, highlighted by a Ceylon 1912-25 KGV 500R dull green, wmk mult crown CA. Superb fresh MLH, nice original gum, beautiful colour & perfect centring. SG 322 cat £8500+. Extremely rare so nice & definitely one of the best quality examples of this high denomination rarity in existence. Exp Bloch, while new certificate can be obtained on request (Lot 2046).
