AUSTRIA. 1836 (16-8). SYRA (Greece) to TRIESTE. Desinfected at the STA TERESA QUARANTINE (wax seal) and resealed. It was carried by a warship of the Austrian Navy and charge 4 1/2 kr. for desinfection and 2 kr. for local delivery on arrival.

Fifty years later, this would would be a letter from POLAND to YUGOSLAVIA, today it is UKRAINE to SLOVENIA.
