1854, "Freehold Institute/A boarding School for Boys", two beautifully illustrated envelopes from the Howell correspondence both franked 3 c. dull red (Sc. 11) with some faults (creased, one stamp probably separated by knife from the sheet missing a good portion at top left and with part of the adjouning stamp at bottom), one envelope with enclosure.

Mixed quality but a nice lot for the postal historian showing a good range of different cancellations some in blue and red.
