Air Mail cover to Napoli, Italy, fr. 2x50c. Imperiale ovpt. P.M., canc. "POSTA MILITARE N.63*5.9.43" (Larissa, Greece). The Germans have pre-empted the Armistice between Italy and the Allies, officially announced on the 9th September, and made prisoner the 130th Militia Batallion and put them into STALAG XB as evidenced by the cachet "Stalag X B gepruft 69" on reverse and on the letter itself. Most interesting and Rare.
