I am very pleased to announce PUBLIC AUCTION #103, to be held SUNDAY
APRIL 7, 1:30pm, in conjunction with the METROPOLITAN POSTCARD
SHOW, being held at the Watson Hotel in New York City. Lots can be viewed
on FRIDAY, APRIL 5 at the Watson Hotel in our private meeting room on the
Mezzanine level. Lots can also be viewed during the show Saturday and
Sunday, April 6-7. The Watson Hotel is located at 440 W. 57
th St., New York.
We are vcry pleased to have been selected to sell the great collection of Rabbi
Harold Salzmann, amassed over 70 years of his collecting. It encompasses
every phase of Holy Land collecting from Forerunners, Palestine, Israel,
Judaica, Zionist Congresses, and Holocaust.
We are also proud to be offering items from the collections of Marin Davies,
Dr. Bob Pildes, Ken & David Torby Dr. Les Bard, Alan Sternberg, Jacques
Mahu, Dr. Jonathan Becker, and Bob Cohen.
The highlights of this sale is the 1948/Interim Period, section, and the
outstanding Synagogue Postcards, assembled over many years by Martin
Davies.
