21/JUL/1806 SANTIAGO - Buenos Aires: Entire letter (short non-historical commercial text) sent to "Sr. Don Domingo de Reynoso, Intendente Gral. de Real Hacienda, Buenos Aires", with red CHILE mark and "3" rating in pen, VF quality, it possibly arrived in the last days of the British occupation of Buenos Aires in the FIRST INVASION!

EXTREMELY RARE COMBINATION of 5c. examples printed by Desmadryl and Gillet: Yvert 1B (5c. Desmadryl with very notable "VERGÉ" PAPER variety and light complete double impression, three ample margins), along Yvert 1D (5c. Tierra de Siena with immense margins), on a folded cover to San Juan, mute cancels along red datestamp of Santiago, manuscript date inside for 30/JUN/1855, fine quality, possibly UNIQUE combination!

Yvert 4 (with three immense margins and one complete but just) + Yvert 6 (wide margins) on large part of a cover to San Juan, mute cancels along red datestamp of Santiago 28/FE/1857. Both stamps are from the SHEET MARGIN, and the 10c. value has double line watermark. They were detached for inspection and hinged back into place, VF quality, very nice piece!

Entire letter dated RAMADILLA 27/AU/1860, to San Juan. The 20c. postage was paid with a SHEET CORNER strip of 3 Yvert 5 (positions 216, 228 and 240, all with double line watermark on the right margin, and in the last one on the right and bottom!) + Yvert 6c (10c. dark blue BISECT), all tied with mute cancels, along CALDERA datestamp. A rare way to complete the 20 cent postage, fine quality, fantastic!
