GJ.16, dull rose, block with the 8 types. The paper used was very thin and sometines it teared up during printing. In this case, the tear at bottom left of stamp 1 was fixed by adding a piece of another stamp on back. The block of 8 was reconstructed by adding stamps 4 and 8, mint original gum (+50%), VF quality, interesting!

FRAUD TO THE POSTAL AUTHORITIES: Folded cover sent from Salta to Tucumán FRANKED WITH 2 PARTS OF USED STAMPS, they were affixed overlapping a little so it would appear a normal example (but it had NO face value, which the postal clerks failed to note), excellent quality, signed by Victor Kneitschel, ONLY case I have ever seen of stamp fraud in the classic period!!
