Entire letter dated 26/JUN/1824 and sent to Córdoba, with the 2-line BUENOS AYRES mark (GJ.BUE 6) in rust-red perfectly applied along "3" rating in pen. The letter has a commercial text about the fall in the price of the anise from Chile because a cargo had arrived from Europe which was preferred by the people, and also that it was a good time to sell leather, etc., superb quality!

Folded cover used in 1860s (genuine), with a FORGED pre-stamp mark "INSPECCIÓN GENERAL DE POSTAS Y CAMINOS" in black, produced by Abarca in 1960/70 on genuine covers that he obtained from old archives. For a time he managed to deceive Victor Kneitschel, who after descovering the forgery, published a chapter dedicated to these forgeries in his specialized catalog of 1974. Very interesting for study and comparison, good opportunity at low start...
