1889 (20. Feb.): 20c. mauve, postal stationery envelope, with 1886 10c. black and 5c. orange (3) added, all tied very neatly by oval LIMA dated cachet to AR envelope via Panama to British Honduras. A PANAMA transit in blue (29 MAR 1889) and a BARBADOS (AP 15/89) document the postal transit of this rare and very attractive letter with its extraordinary destination. 1856/1906ca.: Age old lot found in envelope, apparently a lost remainder of a larger collection. For better presentation we just put the better and more interesting stamps on stock cards. Quite a nice selection of classic 'El Sol del Mayo' beginning with the first issue, of good appearance, some with little faults, some in good condition - an ideal lot for 'study'.
