1882: 50 st. blue and rose, two copies, on a third weight rate registered cover from "VARNA" to "VIENNA", Austria. Both stamps are cancelled by a single strike of the bilingual "VARNA" canceller in blue ink, dated 3. Oct. 1891. A "R" registration cachet in blue is struck on the front. An arrival "WIEN" is on the reverse. One stamp shows gentle signs of ageing. Fine and rare. Opinion Todd (2015). Ex collection John DuPont.

The freshly coloured postage stamps are cancelled by the large Sofia bilingual (June 9, 1885). The fiscal is affected by gentle staining, a barely visible crease affects the middle 50 st. slightly.
