1893 (3 Apr) Van Gorcum envelope from Bremersdorp to Holland, bearing ½d grey with black overprint, ½d with carmine overprint, 1d carmine & 2d olive-bistre perf 12½ twice cancelled by squared-circle d/stamps with a further strike below, the reverse with Johannesburg (7.4), Cape Town (11.4), London (28.4) and Assen (29.4) d/stamps. An attractive franking at the correct 4d rate. Holcombe Opinion (1988).
