1840 folded letter to Cadiz with a Type 2 GIBRALTAR PAID h/stamp in black and a red manuscript '6' and '9q' denoting British & Spanish rates. Also an 1847 (20 May) envelope to England with a black curved 'GIBRALTAR' h/stamp.

1841 two folded letters, the one to Oporto with a curved 'GIBRALTAR' in black, surcharged 20 Escudos in Lisbon, the second to Cadiz with a Type 2 'GIBRALTAR PAID' h/stamp, with manuscript '6' and '9q' on the face denoting the British & Spanish rates.
