1843 July 28th cover to Manchester franked with two 1d reds from Pl.30 HB & GH (just touched) both beautifully cancelled by the rare No. 4 in MC, presumably GH paid a late fee? Very rare use of the No 4 on a multiple franking cover (normally No. 12), dated. (Single No.4 on cover £2000)

1852 1d lake-red Pl.142 QI, superb wide margined example on a lovely neat entire from London to Warwick cancelled by the Inland Office numeral '14' leaving a full clear profile, reverse with blue arrival cds, brilliant quality for this very scarce stamp on cover. Spec B2 (2), RPS Cert (2005)
