1853 envelope from Shediac to Ireland, endorsed 'Immediate' & 'Via New York' with a 3d (good even margins) lightly tied by a barred canceller, this paid the internal rate to Halifax. A Shediac Paid undated circular cancel has a m/s '2' in red inserted. St John JY 13, and Limerick AU.1.1853 b/stamps. The cover has been truncated at the right, but still a desirable item.
