We are pleased to present our November 29-30 sale, with 1,504 lots, including part one of the Heinz Gappe (HGI Company) inventory of Flight and Zeppelin covers of the world, as well as properties of numerous other vendors and estates sold by their order.
Heinz was well known to Aerophilatelists, having been active in this field since the 1960s and amassed a wonderful holding of this ever-popular and exciting area.
There are selections of attractive United States, Western European countries with Austria, Benelux, Scandinavia, France, Germany, Italy and Colonies, Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Scandinavia. Great and Britain and British Commonwealth are well represented, with many interesting flight covers.
As always, the sale includes selections of better South America, Asia and rest of the world. The sale concludes with 165+ large lots and collections, which range from single country collections to multi-carton worldwide groups of stamps and covers, including groups of the ex-Gappe stock.
