1840 – 1900: 60 years of international philately / postal history and communication; a journey through the world documented by interesting stamps and postal items / documents. The much-noticed „VICTORIA – COLLECTION“ with about 170 different countries / postal areas from the estate of a renowned entrepreneur (medical industry), enables a unique offer of first class pieces and rarities of different Countries representing the five continents. Rarities of the classic period from Europe like Austrian Newspaper Stamps (Mercury), Moldavian Coat of Arms, Cantonals of Switzerland, Italian States are present, and also a range of notable items from British Guyana, Bermuda, Southafrica, Latinamerica and Asia. Much of the scarce unique specimens, where outside of the philatelic market for decades, including pieces which had never been offered to the public. Some scarce highlights are unknown in philatelic recordings and specialised literature. As a new auction-house, we are proud to present this exceptional offer and we hope to meet with a positive response.
