You are invited to browse through this select offering of 1483 lots representing virtually every area of International Philately. The United States section ranges from Special Printings, proofs and better cacheted FDCs. We are pleased to present on December 3, 2015 - The John Pedneault Collection of Ireland 1922-1935 Overprints.
John is a familiar figure to most collectors of Ireland and has exhibited extensively over the past 40+ years. His collection contains wide selections of the popular Dollard, Alex Thom and Harrison printings, replete with errors and varieties, covers, large multiples and incredible number of full sheets of Seahorses with Irish overprints.

We are pleased to present the United States Collection of unused singles, plate blocks and postal stationery cards formed by the late Sam Confino. Sam meticulously built his collection in the 1960s-80s, filling his want list through New York Area dealers and auctioneers. Sam was especially delighted when he could add an unused rarity to his collection, especially the 1857 5c brick red and 5c red brown (both with original gum) or that elusive Coil Pair including Scott 317, 318, 322 and 449. Over the years Sam was able to acquire many rarities, including an unused 1851 5c, the 4c Columbian Error of Color, imperf. 5c error, 4c and 8c Bluish Paper, 2c A.E.F. booklet pane, Plate Blocks (including Zeppelins), Postage Dues, Officials and much more.
The sale contains 248 lots, with several large lots which include balances of the collection. Virtually all of the single items are accompanied by Philatelic Foundation certificates (most updated in 2015), where necessary.
