Adelaide printing from Perkins Bacon Plates 1856/58: 2 d. 'blood' red, wmk. Large Star, imperforate, a fine large margined example with 'dry ink' variety especially prominent at right where parts of the design are missing, used on 1857 entire letter within Adelaide, with PAID / ADELAIDE S.A. datestamp in red (May 4) at left. A most unusual entire.
