1850 (April-July): 2 d. bright blue, Plate II, position 21, early intermediate impression and 1850 1 d. pale red, Plate I, position 24, used on 1850 entire letter with readable interesting content from Balmain to Farringdon, Berkshire, each with four large margins and tied by mute obliterators in black. Slightly smudged 'Paid Ship Letter / Crown / Sydney' in red at right (Sept 18) and manuscript '8' (pence) for Ship Letter fee.
