Covers - Netherlands Indies Airmails: 1934 Neth Indies-Australia leg of England-Australia first regular service, 3 intermediate covers, plus one for a later flight, diff frankings for the 60c rate, generally fine. (4). 1935 (Jan 31) airmail incident cover Modjoagoeng to Sydney, carried on Imperial IE309 which force-landed at Sourabaya 4 Feb owing to broken exhaust, confirmed by Lindfield b/s (9 Feb). 1938 (Jul 3) KNILM Java - Australia inc the souvenir cover (3) franked 25c (2 diff compositions) & 35c. Two with boxed 'By air to Australia & onward air transmission” & rare meter franking commercial cover (centre fold) with same h/s. F-VF. AAMC 815. (4). 1941 from Marine Dept Batavia (3, ea 245x135mm) to Netherlands Consul-General, Sydney, numbered 'II', 'VI', 'VIII', various rates, 'Marine-Censuur 1' cachets in violet or black, &/or framed h/s 'Niet door Censuur geopend 85', one h/s 'Postbericht'. (3). WW2 Australian Forces in Netherlands Indies (15) with diff Field or Base PO pmks for Morotai & Borneo, generally reasonable strikes, variety of censor h/s. Overall good to mostly VF. (27).
