Hoyt" at bottom left, reverse with 10¢ blue (11), four large margins, faulty, tied by extra ms. ink; reduced at left, F.-V.F., signed by Dietz on reverse.

The Charleston Post Office apparently did not recognize the franking on reverse and rated postage due in error.
