1d rose BW #P23 addressed to F Lucas Benham MD, corner bend; and 1911 (April 26) very early usage of #P1 to the Secretary of the Bern Philatelic Exhibition in Switzerland with SA œd GPO tied by 'PT ADELAIDE' cds, the message signed "F Lucas Benham MD". [Dr Benham was directly responsible for the change of admonition. On 24/4/1911, he advised the Postmaster-General that the instruction 'ADDRESS ONLY TO BE WRITTEN ON THIS SIDE' contravened the postcard regulations enacted pursuant to the Rome Postal Congress in 1906. The amended cards were printed in -/11/1911 but the earliest recorded usage is on 28/8/1912]
