[#P1 was initially distributed only to South Australia, Tasmania & Victoria. Ewen's Stamp Weekly of 27/5/1911 stated "The postcard was issued 7.4.1911 but is not yet in general use, as old [States] stock is being used up." Most likely, the issue date of 7/4/1911 applied to Melbourne]
