Lot x4 early Israeli foreign postal links: 1 airmail cover ex PARIS to TEL AVIV pmk'd 27-7-48 (addressed "Palestine"), with letter; x3 Turkish airmails (1 registered) ex ISTANBUL to TEL AVIV (with letters in French), with postmarks 21-8-1948, 9-12-1948 and 28-10-1949; last cv with 1-11-1949 TLV arr pmk. Turkey and Israel formalized relations in March 1949; outbound mail to Turkey before then is known, and those pieces arrived via Athens - probably a similar route for the arrival of the first two covers here. All 4 covers roughly opened but not affecting the marks and postmarks.
Menge x4 frühen israelische ausländische Postverbindungen: 1 Luftpost Umschlag von PARIS nach TEL AVIV markiert am 27.07.48 (adressiert "Palästina"), mit Brief; x3 türkische Luftpost (1 Einschreiben) von ISTANBUL nach TEL AVIV (mit Briefen in Französisch), mit Poststempeln 21.08.1948, 12.09.1948 und 28.10.1949; letzter Umschlag mit 11.01.1949 TLV Empfang-Marke. Türkei und Israel formalisierten Beziehungen im März 1949; ausgehende Post nach Türkei bis dahin ist bekannt, und diese Stücke kamen über Athen - wahrscheinlich eine ähnliche Route für Empfang der ersten Umschläge hier. Alle 4 Umschläge grob geöffnet, aber keine Auswirkungen auf die Marken und Siegel.
