1843 60r Bulls Eye marginal pair plus complete horizontal row of 6, paying reduced rate postage of 480r (for court documents sent by post) on a handwritten lawsuit from Itaborahy to Rio de Janeiro, the entire then sent back (with 43 pages added by the court at Rio) and prepaid at the now higher rate of 750r with Inclinados 30r single plus 60r block of 12 tied by Correio Geral da Corte 5/5/1846 cds. The Bulls Eyes are not cancelled but clearly belong ("tied" by small wormholes). Minor trivial faults.

An extraordinary ensemble illustrating the use of multiples on heavy lawsuits by post (prepayment of postage then was mandatory by Decree of 1842, and the reduced tariff varied from one quarter to one half the rates for closed letters).

An important discovery and most desirable combination use of the first two issues

Estimate: ? 120'000 - ? 150'000
