Envelope, 1876, Centennial Issue, 3¢ proof in red sealing wax, Die 71 (Scott U218P), red wax impression of the original die for the Centennial envelope engraved by Henry Mitchel of Boston, Massachusetts in 1876; neatly mounted in frame with 3¢ red and 3¢ green Centennial cut squares, plus Centennial medal / token, Very Fine, an excellent piece for the wall of a postal stationery collector.
