1850 (Aug): 1 d. carmine on hard greyish blued laid paper, Plate II, position 9, a fine used example with some doubling of impression and showing portion of paper-maker's watermark, of rich colour with large margins all round, cancelled by light numeral obliterator in black. A very scarce stamp so fine. Signed Saatchi Gi = 700+.
