Few extraordinary stamps, as Mauritius' first issue, are missing, but with a firework of valuable top items, complete issues, key values etc. The extraordinary and most impressive collection contains worldwide issues of the first 50 years, plus some extras. With ASIA including large and small dragons of China, first issues of Ceylon, circular stamps of Afghanistan and of Jammu & Kashmir, early Straits Settlements issues including "B" overprints for use in Bangkok, good parts Philippines, Hongkong and others, AFRICA with triangles of the Cape (incl. woodblocks) or early 'PAID' issues of Mauritius, the AMERICA part contains Canada Provinces issues, a comprehensice part U.S.A. including 'back of the book' issues, Confed. States etc., or the early issues of Argentina, Brazil and others, followed by classic Australian States and New Zealand issues. The detailed part EUROPE with almost all stamps from France, plus some of French Colonies, remarkable collections of Scandinavia incl Denmark (from the 2 R.B.S.), Norway and Sweden with almost all stamps issued, and Finland with early issues of mostly good quality (complete/almost complete perfs), good sections Great Britain (from 1840 Penny Black and Mulreadys to £-values), Portugal and Spain, also Old Italian States, and many more. Last but not least with impressive collection of Old German States, from the "Schwarzen Einser" of Bavaria and the "Sachsen Dreier" of Saxonia to the 70kr. of Wurttemberg. The quality is found mixed, from reprints, forgeries and some stamps with faults to very fine and superb examples. Many stamps are signed by famous experts, few with certificate (attached along with additions and information in a folder). AN EXTRAORDINARY, FASCINATING AND MOST VALUABLE COLLECTION.
