1849-1870's "FRENCH POSTAL HISTORY": Collection of more than 30 special, attractive, scarce and rare covers, almost all signed or certified by famous experts, with scarce frankings as early 1fr.-values (incl. pair), 1869 5fr. or 1871 25c. tête-bêche pair, covers to scarce destinations like Peru (1852), USA, European countries and one cover franked 1869 5fr. in combination with 80c., 40c. and 20c. used within ARGENTINA from Buenos Aires to Rivadeo in 1871, also with registered mail, attractive frankings and scarce postmarks, and some others. Is has to be noted that not every cover is beyond doubt (those not counted), but most items are of original condition as certified by the experts, and some of them sold at the famous "Masterpieces of French Philately" auction by Ivy Mader on November 21st, 1998.
