1916 Cover sent from a German internee in the Detention Barracks at Trial Bay, Australia (dated 14/3/16) to Luebeck, Germany with "PRISONER OF WAR LETTER/FREE" violet circular cachet, straightliner "Service des prisonniers de guerre", "R.L.Sands Lieut.Col./GERMAN CONCENTRATION CAMPS, LIVERPOOL N.S.W." h/s and facsimile, red circular censor d/s "PASSED BY CENSOR C.S/11 AP 16" as well as German censor h/s "Geprüft/Prüfungsstelle IX. Armeecorps Lübeck" in violet alongside. Cover slightly stained otherwise a fine and interesting P.O.W. item.
