1854-55 FRENCH POSSESSION: Lithographed 4a. blue & red, 4th printing (frame Die II with retouched inner circle at 2 o'clock position), sheet pos. 17 of close setting, used at PONDICHERRY and cancelled by "C/111" numeral, cut square with almost complete outer frame-lines (slightly touched at left), a little thin in bottom right corner (outside design), fine.
