ovptd. at Pondicherry FRANCE LIBRE 18ca vermilion and carmine, OVERPRINT INVERTED (to read diagonally downwards), tied to small position of envelope (both front and reverse) by partial large cds, fine used. On reverse is pencil '3000, Behr, 1961' apparently referring to the price paid from the dealers Behr, and signed B. Behr in pencil beneath the stamp. Very scarce. Normal stamp catalogues £800.
