Overland letter with manuscript "1/2" due rate for over 400 miles, indistinct box handstamp ("Via Cassilis" ?) and "Midday Mail." oval handstamp applied in Sydney, reverse with "General Post Office, Sydney, Ju 3, 1839" crown oval transit date stamp and circular Parramatta receiver; some slight cover erosion to outer top flap not affecting postmarks, otherwise Very Fine.
