Yemen. Ottoman censured cover sent from Hodeida on 13/8/1914 to Triest, Austria. Franked for 1P, killed by "HUDEYDA 2" (Isfila type 9). Transit of Port Taufic on 18/8/1914 applied on back. Probably in the same Egyptian port was opened and controlled in the British censorship office, which also applies the paper band with the inscription "OPENED UNDER MARTIAL LAW" and the violet linear mark "PASSED BY CENSOR". Important paper witness of postal service between Turkey and Austria that was already in war with England. VERY RARE COMBINATION, POSSIBLE FOR VERY FEW MONTHS.
