1848/1860's (c.): 15 stampless covers plus contents to India concerning opium trades, with 1848 letter to the Malwa opium dealer Chandermull at Bombay, letter plus invoices (Malwa opium) from Canton to Bombay in 1851, letter + contents + checks from the Agra & United Service Bank Ltd. in Hong-Kong (1863), cover + contents from Shanghai (1867), and others, two with 'Bombay Shipletter Bearing:' receiving handstamps, no other postmarks, but mostly with steamer ship names like "Pekin", "Columbian", "Aden", "Prince of Wales", "Malta", "John Bright", "Ganges" and others.
