Jordan, Registered cover franked for 2P by pair of 1P blue "Arab Gouvernament of the East 1342" stamp (SG n 129) cancelled "Amman Registered" on 26/4/1925. Sent to an Armenian from Aintab, refugee at the Patriarchate of the Armenian Church in Alep. RARE.
Lot #46 - jordan
Jordan, three covers (3) with letters sent from Amman to Beirut, Lebanon, respectively on 13/1/1950, 21/1/1950 and 21/2/1950. All franked for 30 mils, of which 10 mils by revenue stamps bilingual overprinted "Aid" in carmine. These Obligatory Tax stamps, were issued in 18 November 1950 and used intermittently for only a few months. ELUSIVE ON THE MARKET THIS STAMPS USED ON COVER.

Jordan, Jarash's post card written and posted from this archeologic site. Franked for 20 mils with the stamps cancelled by crude circle and date handwritten "٥٣/٩/٣٠" (30/9/53). INTERESTING.
