Correspondence between countries under German occupation was made via the Red Cross. Formular of the Swiss Red Cross sent from Paris on 7.8.1942, with a message addressed to Piraeus, arrived in Greece on 2.1.1943. On back is written the response which arrived in Paris on 2.2.1943. Red cachets of the German, Swiss, French and Greek Red Cross (Prisoners Office), plus violet cachets of an Italian censor.
