From 1952 to 1955 the "Direction Generale des Postes et Telecommunications du Viet-Nam" tried to popularize the collecting of Viet Nam stamps. Although the number of specimen-overprinted stamps issued is unknown, unconfirmed data indicates that as late as 1956, only 1,200 examples of each number of the journal were printed, though not necessarily sold, Very Fine.
