1874 (Oct 14), folded business letter from Yokohama to Providence, RI, "via San Francisco/Overland", franked by three 3ֲ¢ US Banknotes in a pair and single (defective) and a 1c single, all cancelled by Yokohama segmented cork cancels with matching "Yokohama/Cot 14/Japan" c.d.s. alongside. Front shows San Francisco Nov 8 transit, fresh and Very Fine, a most attractive cover.
