Scott 65), double pane of 40, an immaculate quality dual pane block, incredibly well centered, with margin at right & top and interpanneau margin at left, pristine mint, full, exceptionally clean o.g., Extremely Fine, a connoisseur piece for sure.

China, 1897 (July 21), Red Revenue combination cover from Peking to Indianapolis, Indiana, a worn and tatty cover, happily with the stamps and their postmarks in good condition; franked by 1¢ on 3¢ Revenue and small 4¢ on 4ca Dowager, each tied by strong bold strike of "Peking/21 JUL 97" bilingual large dollar dater in blue; front also shows 5s blue Japanese Koban added and cancelled "Shanghai/28/JUL/97/I.J.P.O." c.d.s., with reverse showing brown "Shanghai/26 JUL 97" bilingual large dollar chop transit and partial San Francisco Aug 2 (?), 1897 receiver; some edge tears, creases, etc., still Fine, an extremely rare example of a Red Revenue overseas usage with large Peking dollar chop.
